1. It is with great sadness I advise that 8245987 Lieutenant Colonel Stephen James Grace, DSM passed away on 17 January 2018.

2. Lieutenant Colonel Grace will be remembered for his loyalty and service to the Army, his dedication and passion for the Royal Australian Corps of Infantry, and his friendship to many. He will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with Lieutenant Colonel Grace’s family as we support them through this difficult time.

3. A funeral service will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Gallipoli Barracks, Lloyd Street, Enoggera at 1500 hours on Thursday 25 January 2018. The service will be immediately followed by a wake at the Gaythorne RSL, 534 Samford Road, Mitchelton, from 1630 hours. Dress for the Official Mourner and Senior Officers is Dress Order No 1B – Ceremonial Service Dress (Less Sword). All others is coat and tie with medals optional (but preferred).
