Government Taskforce to examine ADF Transition
Published Tue 30 May 2017
The Australian Government has established a Taskforce to examine the transition process from the perspective of Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and their families leaving the ADF and entering civilian life.
The Taskforce was formed as a result of one of the Government’s 2016 election commitments, and involves current and former members of the ADF, as well as representatives from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), the Department of Defence and the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation.
As part of the Taskforce’s engagement activity, an online survey has been developed to capture the experiences and views of key stakeholders. The Survey can be found via the following link:

This survey will be available until 4 June 2017. I invite you and your organisation to complete the survey to ensure that your views are captured and assist the Taskforce understand the wider system of support for members and their families as they leave the ADF. If after completing the survey there are additional things you would like to share with the Taskforce, I invite you to send these through to transition.taskforce@dva.gov.au.
