AASAM concluded the ADF phase of the 2019 competition over the weekend. The Chief of Army awarded the Army Champion Shot Medal and recognised the Army Top 20 shots. 1 RAR performed superbly.

I am very pleased to announce the 2019 ASSAM Results, as follows:

• Champion shot overall - LCPL Clark - 1 RAR
• Champion infantry unit - 1st place - 1 RAR
• Service pistol aggregate - 1st place - 1 RAR
• Unit weapon aggregate - 1st place - 1 RAR
• Infantry weapons unit aggregate - 1st place - 1 RAR
• Service rifle aggregate - 1st place - 1 RAR

1RAR had 4 of the top 20 shots in Army including the overall champion shot.
